Dhiraagu Confirms Technical Issue Affecting App, MyAccount, and Reload Services

By Ahmed Ashraf Published October 15, 2025

Maldives’ leading telecommunications provider Dhiraagu has announced that a technical issue is currently disrupting access to some of its key digital services — including the Dhiraagu App, MyAccount, and Reload platforms.

In a public announcement issued today, the company confirmed that several customers are experiencing difficulties using these services due to an unexpected technical issue.

“Due to an unexpected technical issue, some of our customers are currently experiencing difficulties in using Dhiraagu App, MyAccount, and Reload services. Our team is working to rectify the issue as soon as possible. We apologise for the inconvenience caused and thank you for your patience” the company said.

Dhiraagu assured users that its technical teams are actively working to restore full functionality at the earliest possible time. While the provider did not specify the root cause or duration of the outage, it reaffirmed its commitment to minimizing disruption and maintaining service reliability.

The company encouraged customers to stay tuned to its official communication channels for further updates on the restoration process.

Dhiraagu, which serves a nationwide customer base across all inhabited islands, operates the Maldives’ largest mobile and broadband network. The company has recently been expanding its digital services portfolio, making online self-care platforms like MyAccount and the Dhiraagu App integral to daily customer transactions — from bill payments to balance recharges.

As of this update, Dhiraagu has not indicated when services will return to normal, but the firm’s acknowledgment and rapid response underscore its proactive approach to addressing technical challenges.
