Dhiraagu Renews Support for Care Society’s Vocational Training Program 2025

By Ahmed Ashraf Published August 26, 2025

Dhiraagu has reaffirmed its commitment to empowering young people with disabilities by renewing support for Care Society’s Vocational Training Program 2025. The initiative is designed to equip participants with practical skills and essential life training, enabling them to pursue greater independence and social inclusion.

The renewed partnership was officially launched at “Pop Up with a Purpose”, a community event held at Rasfannu on Friday, August 22. The event showcased the talents of program participants through bakery stalls, arts and crafts exhibits, and sports activities, providing them with a platform to demonstrate their creativity and capabilities.

Dhiraagu has been a long-term partner of Care Society’s Vocational Training Unit since its inception in 2018. According to Care Society, the program has produced tangible results: progress reports from 2024 showed that 22 children made notable improvements in independence, communication, and social interaction. Encouraged by these outcomes, the 2025 program now accommodates 27 students.

The curriculum is structured to balance essential life skills — such as communication, problem-solving, and teamwork — with vocational training in fields like cooking, handicrafts, and computer literacy. Organizers say this combination not only prepares students for employment opportunities but also nurtures self-confidence and resilience.

Supporting initiatives that uplift youth and marginalized communities remains a cornerstone of Dhiraagu’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) strategy. By partnering with Care Society, the company aims to create meaningful impact and drive inclusive development.

“Dhiraagu’s continued support reflects our belief that every young person deserves the chance to achieve their potential” a company spokesperson noted. “Together with Care Society, we will keep working to create pathways for independence and opportunity for young people with disabilities”.

The renewed collaboration underscores Dhiraagu’s broader vision of building a more inclusive society, where social responsibility and corporate growth go hand in hand.
