Leyfavethi Fenaka Blood Drive Heads to Addu City as Nationwide Campaign Expands

By Ahmed Ashraf Published 12 hours ago

Fenaka Corporation has announced the launch of its blood donation campaign, “Leyfavethi Fenaka,” in Addu City, as part of a nationwide humanitarian initiative conducted in partnership with the Maldives Blood Service.

The campaign, which aims to reach every atoll where Fenaka provides utility services, officially began on December 23, 2025, with its inaugural blood donation event held at the corporation’s Head Office in Malé. Fenaka employees took part in the launch, contributing to the national blood supply through voluntary donations.

According to the corporation, the Addu City edition of the campaign is scheduled to take place before the 15th of this month. Preparations are currently being finalized in close coordination with the Maldives Blood Service to ensure the smooth execution of the event.

Fenaka stated that the timing of the campaign is particularly important, as the country continues to face challenges in maintaining adequate blood reserves. The initiative seeks to strengthen public participation and support during a period of heightened demand.

The Addu City blood donation drive will be open to Fenaka employees, their family members, and the general public, reinforcing the campaign’s inclusive approach and its focus on community engagement and social responsibility.

Through “Leyfavethi Fenaka,” the corporation aims to foster a culture of voluntary blood donation across the Maldives, while contributing directly to national healthcare needs through sustained, island-wide participation.
