Maldives Immigration to Hire 50 Officers via Walk-In Interviews

In a significant move to bolster its workforce, Maldives Immigration has announced plans to recruit 50 new officer trainees through upcoming walk-in interviews. The agency shared the news via its official X (formerly Twitter) account, noting that specific dates and venues for the interviews will be disclosed in due course.

This recruitment initiative aligns with the broader objectives outlined in the Maldives Immigration Strategic Plan 2020–2024, which emphasizes organizational reform and the enhancement of human resource capabilities . By expanding its team, the agency aims to strengthen border security and improve service delivery across the nation.

Eligibility Criteria for Applicants:

Educational Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a “D” grade in two subjects from a Secondary or equivalent examination, along with at least a “C” grade in Dhivehi language in the Secondary or Higher Secondary School Certificate; or
  • Completion of an MNQF Level 3 Certificate.

Age Requirement:

  • Applicants must be under 40 years of age before the announcement deadline.
