Moosa Ali Jaleel, the Male’ City mayoral candidate of the ruling People’s National Congress, has pledged to uphold and expand the high standard of municipal service delivered during President Dr Mohamed Muizzu’s tenure as Mayor, describing that period as a defining benchmark for effective city governance.

Speaking at the inauguration of his campaign office on Sunday night, Moosa Ali Jaleel said the Male’ City Council had struggled for more than a decade to provide meaningful and consistent services following the introduction of the local governance system in 2011.
