The project, which will reshape one of Malé’s busiest road networks, aims to deliver wider, pedestrian-friendly streets that ease traffic congestion and integrate a modern stormwater drainage system to reduce flooding risks during heavy rainfall. Once completed, the development will significantly strengthen the capital’s resilience and improve daily mobility for residents and commuters.

  • Today, 28 September 2025 – MTCC reports full completion of pre-cast panel installation, 33% progress on quay wall capping concrete works, and reinforcement activities underway.
