Pay Your Fitr Zakat in Minutes: Ooredoo m-Faisaa Offers Quick and Secure Ramadan Giving

By Hussain Shinan Published March 22, 2025

As the holy month of Ramadan continues, Ooredoo Maldives has announced a simple and secure digital solution for fulfilling Fitr Zakat obligations, allowing users to make their contributions easily through its digital wallet service, m-Faisaa.

The company has streamlined the process, enabling users to pay their Zakat from the comfort of their homes in just a few clicks. The step-by-step payment system includes logging in via ore.do/zakat, selecting the Zakat type and amount, entering personal details, choosing m-Faisaa as the payment method, and confirming the transaction through a one-time password (OTP).

The initiative is part of Ooredoo’s broader efforts to enhance access to essential financial services through digital technology, especially during key periods like Ramadan. It also aligns with the company’s vision for a more connected and inclusive “Digital Maldives.”

Ooredoo Maldives stated that the aim of the Zakat payment feature is to empower individuals with the tools they need to fulfill religious obligations while ensuring convenience and safety in today’s digital age.

Users can visit ore.do/zakat or download the m-Faisaa app to make their Fitr Zakat payments ahead of Eid.
