President Muizzu Inspects Boduthakurufaanu Magu Development, Reaffirms Commitment to Modernizing Malé Roads

In afternoon President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu visited the Boduthakurufaanu Magu development site to inspect the progress of the ongoing road development project, a cornerstone of his administration’s pledge to modernize Malé’s urban infrastructure. Upon arrival, the President was welcomed by the Minister of Construction, Housing and Infrastructure, Dr. Abdulla Muththalib, along with the Managing Director of the Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC), DCP (Retd.) Ahmed Saudee.

During the inspection, President Muizzu reviewed the progress of the project’s first phase and inquired about the measures being implemented to ensure timely completion. Officials briefed him on the strategies in place to keep the work on schedule, highlighting parallel initiatives designed to transform Malé City into a more accessible and pedestrian-friendly capital. The project, spearheaded by MTCC, includes the construction of modern roads aimed at easing congestion, improving mobility, and enhancing safety for all residents.
