President Muizzu launches ATM service and kicks off new Health Centre project in Fulidhoo

President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu began his official atoll tour with a landmark visit to Vaavu Atoll Fulidhoo, where he engaged directly with residents, inaugurated new public services, and laid the foundation for future development projects. The visit underscores the administration’s commitment to delivering tangible progress and ensuring that every island benefits from equal opportunities.

During the tour, the President met with Fulidhoo residents to hear their concerns and discuss community priorities. His direct engagement with islanders highlighted the government’s dedication to people-centered governance and participatory decision-making.

Marking a significant step forward in local financial inclusion, President Muizzu inaugurated the new Bank of Maldives ATM service in Fulidhoo. The facility will provide greater convenience and accessibility, strengthening the island’s economic activity while enhancing everyday banking services for the community.

In addition, the President officiated the commencement of the new Fulidhoo Health Centre building project, a major expansion aimed at improving healthcare delivery for residents. Once completed, the facility will ensure broader access to essential medical services and contribute to the government’s wider efforts to raise healthcare standards across the atolls.
