President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has emphasized that his administration is not only building physical infrastructure but also restoring the moral and social fabric of Maldivian society.
Addressing supporters at PNC House, the President said his government is committed to reversing years of decline in respect, unity, and community spirit. “We want to bring back the Maldives of our ancestors — where elders were respected, parents honored, and neighbors cared for one another” he declared.
Among the steps taken, the government has banned vapes and introduced a generational smoking ban, aimed at protecting young Maldivians from harmful addictions. Muizzu stressed that true progress comes from raising disciplined, well-mannered youth rooted in Islamic values and national pride.
“This is not just about roads and airports. Development must be both intellectual and spiritual,” he said.
