STELCO to Host Information Sessions on Merit-Based Engineering Scholarship

State Electric Company (STELCO) has announced that it will be hosting both in-person and online information sessions to provide details about its Merit-Based Engineering Scholarship program.

The sessions, scheduled for Thursday, April 24, 2025, aim to offer prospective applicants a comprehensive understanding of the scholarship opportunity, which is designed to support talented students pursuing a future in engineering.

The in-person session will take place from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., offering participants the chance to directly engage with STELCO representatives and ask questions regarding eligibility criteria, application processes, and benefits of the program.

In addition to the on-site briefing, an online session is also scheduled for the same day from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., making the opportunity accessible to students across the country. Interested participants are encouraged to register in advance by emailing [email protected].

STELCO’s Merit-Based Engineering Scholarship is part of the company’s ongoing commitment to invest in the next generation of skilled professionals in the Maldives. The initiative aims to foster local talent and strengthen the engineering workforce needed to support the country’s growing infrastructure and energy needs.

Students with a keen interest in engineering and academic excellence are strongly encouraged to attend one of the sessions to learn more about this opportunity.
