By Ahmed Ashraf Published 1 hour ago

The Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF) has welcomed the Indian Navy’s First Training Squadron, comprising INS Tir, INS Sujata and Indian Coast Guard Ship (ICGS) Sarathi, to the Maldives.

According to the MNDF, the visit includes several training interactions and exchanges of professional experience aimed at strengthening maritime cooperation between the two countries.

The engagement provides opportunities for Maldivian and Indian military personnel to share knowledge, improve professional skills and enhance operational coordination.
