As part of the event, a commemorative plaque was presented to mark the team’s achievement. The plaque was handed over by STO Chief Financial Officer Mohamed Nizam, symbolising the organisation’s appreciation for the national team’s accomplishment.

In addition, special vouchers were gifted to every member of the squad, including the head coach and team officials. The vouchers were presented by Ahmed Shifan, Director of Corporate Marketing and Communications at STO.

The ceremony concluded with a special tea hosted in honour of the team, creating an opportunity for STO’s management and staff to engage with the players in a celebratory and informal setting. The gathering reflected a shared sense of pride and recognition for the team’s contribution to Maldivian sports.

STO reaffirmed its commitment to celebrating national achievements, noting that recognising individuals and teams who bring pride and honour to the Maldives remains an integral part of the company’s corporate values.
