The Hawks Pvt Ltd Expands Global Footprint with New Istanbul Trading Office

By Ahmed Ashraf Published September 16, 2025

The Hawks Pvt Ltd, Maldives’ leading fuel and logistics powerhouse, has taken another bold step in its global expansion strategy with the launch of a new trading office in Istanbul, Türkiye. The move cements Hawks’ reputation as a dominant force in the Indian Ocean fuel supply sector and underscores its growing influence in international energy markets.

The new office will be spearheaded by seasoned bunker traders Cemil Ünsal and Göksu Mete, whose extensive expertise and market insight will drive Hawks’ entry into one of the world’s most dynamic marine fuel hubs.

The Hawks Pvt Ltd already maintains a strong international presence with offices in Dubai, Singapore, Monaco, Shanghai, Kuala Lumpur, and Colombo, in addition to physical supply operations in the Maldives and Sri Lanka. The strategic addition of Istanbul strengthens the company’s role as a bridge between East and West, linking major shipping routes and enhancing access to European and Mediterranean markets.
