Ooredoo Maldives has confirmed it is investigating an issue that has disrupted mobile data services for users across the country.
Speaking to The Standard, the company acknowledged the problem and assured customers that its technical team is working swiftly to resolve the disruption.
“We’ve noticed an issue affecting the data experience and want to assure you that we are currently investigating this matter further. Our team is actively working on resolving it as quickly as possible” a company spokesperson said.
While the cause remains unclear, the disruption has impacted internet access for several users since Monday afternoon.
