Unshaken, Unmatched: President Muizzu Breaks World Record in Historic 15-Hour Press Showdown

By Hussain Shinan Published May 4, 2025

In a historic display of endurance and transparency, President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu has set a new world record by holding a 15-hour-long press conference, surpassing the previous 14-hour record held by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky since 2019.

The marathon session, which began at 10:00 a.m. and concluded at 1:00 a.m. the following day, featured President Muizzu addressing questions from 36 journalists. Topics ranged from economic reforms and governance to media ethics and national development.

Throughout the extended briefing, President Muizzu maintained a composed and responsive demeanor, emphasizing the importance of truthful and unbiased reporting. He urged journalists to verify information before dissemination and cautioned against sensationalism.
