A 21-year-old Maldivian student has died following a road accident in Malaysia on Sunday.
The deceased has been identified as Aminath Imili Nazim, from Maarish, S. Hithadhoo.
According to information available following the incident, Imili was travelling with another Maldivian female student in a Grab taxi when the vehicle was involved in an accident.
Imili is reported to have sustained serious injuries to her head in the crash and later passed away.
The second Maldivian student travelling in the vehicle was also affected in the accident, although her condition is reported to be non-critical.
