In addition to the funding, the winners will receive one year of mentorship support, guided by a dedicated BML relationship manager, to provide the technical assistance needed to grow their businesses.

BML said both individuals and newly registered businesses are eligible to apply for the grant.

Further details on the application process and the eligibility criteria are available on the BML website.

The BML Startup Grant was introduced in 2022, with the aim of providing free funding to those looking to start a business or expand a business that is less than a year old.

Through the grant, BML continues its support for young entrepreneurs and new businesses across the Maldives.

Applications for the BML Startup Grant close at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, 10 November.
