Top among the priorities is the stalled water and sanitation project, which the President confirmed will resume in August and be completed within six months from September. Road construction has been assigned to the Road Development Corporation (RDC) and will begin immediately after the utility works are finished.

In the education sector, President Muizzu pledged the completion of the halted school renovation, followed by the development of a multi-purpose hall. He further highlighted that the foundation for a new health centre has already been laid, marking the start of improved healthcare services for the island.

The President also confirmed that a contract for a new mosque has been signed, with construction to commence once land allocation is finalised. Sports and recreation facilities are also on the agenda, with work on the football field to begin this month alongside plans for a fitness and recreation centre and a handball court.

President Muizzu assured residents that all these initiatives will be executed without delay and under close government oversight, signalling his administration’s determination to turn campaign promises into tangible results for the people of Kudarikilu.
