Dhiraagu has announced the return of the Dhiraagu Maldives Gaming Conquest (DMGC) 2026, with registration for the tournament’s qualifiers set to open soon, offering gamers across the Maldives the opportunity to compete for a share of a MVR 150,000 prize pool. Participation in the qualifiers will be free of charge.
Organised under the Dhiraagu Gamers Guild (DGG), DMGC has established itself as the country’s largest esports event, bringing together players from across the Maldives to compete on mobile, PC, and console platforms. The annual tournament continues to play a key role in strengthening the local esports community and creating opportunities for aspiring competitive gamers.
The previous edition of the competition attracted more than 1,500 participants from across the country, reflecting the rapid growth of esports and increasing interest in competitive gaming in the Maldives. Building on that momentum, this year’s tournament will feature five popular titles: Mobile Legends: Bang Bang, PUBG Mobile, Rocket League, FC26, and Tekken 8.
Dhiraagu said the tournament is designed to provide local players with a professional competitive platform while contributing to the continued development of the country’s esports ecosystem. The company added that the initiative reflects its long-term commitment to supporting digital entertainment and expanding opportunities for the gaming community through the Dhiraagu Gamers Guild.
