A new children’s park developed by Fenaka Corporation under the government’s Public Sector Investment Programme (PSIP) has been officially inaugurated in N. Henbadhoo, providing children and families with a modern recreational space.
The park was developed as part of the government’s efforts, guided by President Dr Mohamed Muizzu’s vision, to strengthen social bonds within island communities and create safe and enjoyable environments for children.

The park was inaugurated at a special ceremony by Fenaka Corporation Managing Director Mohamed Afeef Hussain, Kendhikulhudhoo MP Mohamed Afu Hamid and State Minister for Housing, Land and Urban Development Ahmed Salim.
The PSIP-funded project was entrusted to Fenaka Corporation by the government as part of efforts to expand community infrastructure and improve services available to residents.
A large number of Henbadhoo residents and children attended the inauguration ceremony.

With the facility now open, children on the island will have access to a dedicated, safe and modern environment for play and recreation, while families gain a new public space designed to encourage greater community interaction.
