The Maldives Health and Family Expo 2026 has concluded successfully, drawing a strong turnout from members of the public over three days at Hulhumalé Central Park.
Held from 5 to 7 November, the expo was organised with the aim of raising awareness about family wellbeing and public health.
This year’s event was the third edition of the expo series.
The expo was officially inaugurated by President Dr. Mohamed Muizzu, who toured the stalls alongside First Lady Sajidha Mohamed after the opening ceremony.
More than 60 stalls were set up at the expo, featuring major hospitals and clinics in the Greater Malé region, regional hospitals from the atolls and civil society organisations working in the health sector.
Through these stalls, visitors were given details of the services offered by various institutions, emergency helpline numbers and guidance on how to access healthcare services.
The Health Minister said visitors received detailed information on different aspects of the health sector, including how to access health services and helplines.
Targeting people of all ages, the event also featured information sessions on health and wellbeing, along with a range of engaging activities organised especially for children.
Several partners supported the event, with Ooredoo Maldives serving as the Digital Partner and hosting a family movie night at Central Park on the final evening.
The expo provided an opportunity for the public to access valuable health-related information under one roof.
With large crowds visiting over the three days, the Maldives Health and Family Expo 2026 has been hailed as a successful event in promoting public health and family wellbeing.
