Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has rescheduled the cargo ferry service between Addu City and Fuvahmulah originally planned for Sunday, September 27, due to a technical issue.
The C609 cargo ferry will instead operate on Wednesday, September 30, with MTCC issuing a revised timetable for customers travelling between Hulhumeedhoo, Feydhoo and Fuvahmulah.
Under the replacement schedule, the ferry will depart Hulhumeedhoo at 8:00 am and arrive in Feydhoo at 8:45 am.
It will then leave Feydhoo at 10:00 am and is scheduled to reach Fuvahmulah at 12:30 pm.
The return journey will begin from Fuvahmulah at 2:45 pm, with the ferry expected to arrive in Feydhoo at 5:20 pm.
For the final leg of the day’s service, the vessel will depart Feydhoo at 6:30 pm and reach Hulhumeedhoo at 7:15 pm.
MTCC said the change was made because of a technical issue affecting the cargo ferry service scheduled for September 27.

The C609 cargo ferry provides a sea transport connection between Addu City and Fuvahmulah, linking Hulhumeedhoo and Feydhoo in Addu with Fuvahmulah.
The service forms part of MTCC’s wider transport network in the southern Maldives and provides an important link for the movement of cargo between the neighbouring atolls.
The September 30 service will replace the trip originally scheduled for September 27, with passengers and cargo customers advised to follow the revised departure and arrival times announced by MTCC.
