A Maldivian man was assaulted near Indira Gandhi Memorial Hospital (IGMH) this evening by two individuals who arrived on a motorcycle. The victim was seated on his motorcycle when the assailants attacked him, reportedly using an hammer. Following the assault, the attackers attempted to flee on their motorcycle, but when it failed to start, they escaped on foot.
