Water services in Vilimalé will be temporarily suspended for 90 minutes tonight as work is carried out to upgrade the island’s main electricity network.
According to a public notice, the interruption is scheduled to begin at 9:00 pm on Monday, 2 November, and continue until 10:30 pm.
The temporary suspension is necessary to facilitate electricity network improvement works, which will affect the operation of the island’s water supply system.
Residents have been advised to make the necessary arrangements ahead of the interruption, particularly those who may require water during the scheduled maintenance period.
The service provider said water supply would be restored as soon as the work is completed.
The planned interruption is part of infrastructure improvement work in Vilimalé, where electricity and water services are essential to households, businesses and public facilities.
The service provider apologised to customers for the inconvenience and advised anyone seeking further information to contact its customer care hotline on 1575.
