Aasandha Company has donated MVR 75,000 to the “Maldivians for Ceylon” telethon, adding further strength to the nationwide humanitarian effort assisting Sri Lanka as the country faces severe flooding and destruction caused by storm Ditwah. The donation was formally handed over to the telethon team by Aasandha Managing Director Aminath Zeeniya.
Aasandha’s contribution adds to the growing list of state owned companies, private firms and individual donors stepping forward to support families in Sri Lanka who are dealing with displacement, heavy damage and urgent humanitarian needs.
Organisers continue to call on the public and corporate community to donate through QR scan payments, cash, cheques, bank transfers and collection boxes placed across Malé, Hulhumalé and Villimalé.
