Criminal Court Orders Detention of Five Suspects in Thimarafushi Break-in and Violence Case

The Criminal Court has ordered the detention of five individuals involved in a recent break-in and violent incident in Th. Thimarafushi. According to police reports, the event occurred yesterday at approximately 1:27 PM, when five suspects forcibly entered a residence and engaged in violent activities.

The individuals apprehended under court orders include Ahmed Ameen (36) of Jahamuguri, Ahmed Shahudee (38) of Salva, Aas Ibrahim (32) of Hiri, Abdulla Ashraf (39) of Gulbakaa’villa, all from Thimarafushi, and Mohamed Rauf (54) from Vavath in Vilimale’.

The court has decided to extend the detention for Abdulla Ashraf, Aas Ibrahim, and Mohamed Rauf by 10 days. Furthermore, Ahmed Ameen will remain in custody for an additional 7 days, while Ahmed Shahudee’s detention has been extended by 5 days. The Maldives Police Service is actively continuing its investigation into this case.
