Ooredoo’s Little Heroes Take the Lead on Children’s Day

By Ahmed Ashraf Published May 12, 2025

In a delightful celebration of Children’s Day, Ooredoo Maldives introduced its ‘Juniors on Duty’ program on May 10, 2025, offering children a unique opportunity to experience roles within the company’s Call Center and Experience Centre.

From 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM, participating children engaged directly with customers, greeting visitors, assisting with inquiries, handling phone calls, and responding to social media messages—all under the careful supervision of Ooredoo staff. This initiative provided the young participants with a hands-on understanding of customer service and the telecommunications industry.

The event not only brought joy to the children and customers but also underscored Ooredoo’s commitment to nurturing the next generation and fostering a sense of community service. By involving children in real-world scenarios, the company aimed to inspire and educate them about the importance of communication and technology in everyday life.

Ooredoo Maldives expressed gratitude to all the young participants and their families for making the event memorable. The company continues to prioritize initiatives that empower youth and strengthen community bonds.
