Bizweek 2025 Day Two Sparks Strategic Partnerships Through 12-Hour Networking Marathon

By Ahmed Ashraf Published 7 hours ago

Corporate Maldives Bizweek 2025 unfolded its second day at the Meerumaa Conference Facility today, featuring a full‑day schedule of structured Network Meetings from 10 AM to 10 PM. Exclusively available to registered participants, these one‑on‑one sessions aim to nurture strategic alliances, boost visibility, and catalyze growth across diverse sectors of the Maldivian business landscape.

This dynamic networking day follows yesterday’s CEO Summit at JEN Maldives Malé by Shangri‑La, which convened summit leaders from both public and private spheres. That gathering explored the pillars of a resilient economy, including energy, tourism, finance, and urban development, setting the stage for today’s targeted engagements.

  • Tolga Unan, CEO of Unan Trading and MD of Unan Hospitality — Global Consumer Trends in Food and Beverages

  • Zaif Fazal and Aminath Naifa, Tax Lawyers at QVL — Tax Tactics for Businesses
  • Minha Faiz Rashaad, Ishana Waled, Aishath Niha — Women in Management Maldives leadership team, presenting Women in Decision Making

Entering its inaugural year, Bizweek 2025 is Maldives’ first nationwide business‑oriented week. With over 5,000 pre-scheduled meetings, it offers a robust platform for enterprises, professionals, and job seekers to engage with clients, investors, and recruiters from HR, finance, procurement, engineering, F&B, sustainability, and marketing sectors.

Event strategic partners include Bank of Maldives as the exclusive banking partner, alongside key sponsors such as Allied Insurance, Dhiraagu, Ooredoo, and Trans Maldivian Airways . Their collaboration underpins the week’s mission to foster innovation, strengthen networks, and stimulate economic activity.

A highlight this week has been the simultaneous launch of the Corporate Maldives app and redesigned website, introducing a mobile and online hub for business intelligence, networking tools, real‑time updates, and event management resources . The app’s user-friendly interface enables attendees to access session details, connect with peers, and manage their Bizweek agendas efficiently.

As the 12-hour networking day progresses, attendees are actively engaging in scheduled meetings and insightful seminars—each designed to produce tangible outcomes for participating enterprises and individuals. The evening’s summation will showcase key insights, partnership successes, and newly identified growth pathways.
