DhiraaguPay Launches MVR 1 Pizza Promotion with Pizza Buona

By Hussain Shinan Published 3 hours ago

Pizza lovers will have the chance to enjoy a personal pizza for just MVR 1 next week under a new promotion launched by Dhiraagu Fintech in partnership with Pizza Buona.

The limited-time offer will be available on June 18 at Pizza Buona outlets in Maafannu and Hulhumalé Phase 1, giving DhiraaguPay users an opportunity to purchase a personal pizza at a heavily discounted price.

According to Dhiraagu Fintech, the promotion will begin at 10:00 a.m. and will be available exclusively to the first 500 customers at each outlet. The offer is valid for takeaway orders only.

To redeem the promotion, customers must make their payment through the DhiraaguPay digital wallet platform. Existing users can simply present their Wallet ID and complete the transaction using the app, while new customers can participate by downloading DhiraaguPay, registering for a wallet account and making payment through the service.

The campaign comes as excitement builds around the ongoing football season, with the company saying the initiative is intended to give customers another reason to gather with friends and family during the festive sporting period.

Dhiraagu Fintech noted that previous MVR 1 promotions conducted in collaboration with local merchants generated strong public interest and high levels of participation, encouraging the company to continue introducing similar customer-focused campaigns.

In recent years, digital wallet services have seen increasing adoption across the Maldives as consumers shift toward cashless transactions for everyday purchases. Financial technology providers have also expanded promotional campaigns to encourage greater use of digital payment solutions.

Dhiraagu Fintech said such collaborations not only provide value to customers but also support local businesses by driving foot traffic and increasing visibility for participating merchants.

As a subsidiary of Dhiraagu, the company has been expanding its range of fintech services as part of broader efforts to promote digital payments and financial innovation in the Maldives.

Officials said the latest campaign reflects the company’s ongoing commitment to rewarding customers while encouraging the use of secure and convenient digital payment platforms.

With only 500 offers available at each location, customers hoping to take advantage of the MVR 1 pizza deal may need to arrive early before the promotion reaches capacity.
