Bank of Maldives (BML) has urged registered clubs and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) to submit their proposals before the deadline for its Bank Fund 2026 grant programme, which closes this Sunday.
The Bank Fund is an annual initiative aimed at supporting sustainable, community-focused projects across the Maldives. Since its launch in 2024, the programme has provided financial assistance to local organizations working to create positive social impact in their communities.
Applications for this year’s fund opened on May 13, and interested organizations have until 2:00 PM on June 14, 2026, to submit their proposals.
Under the programme, five projects will be selected to receive grants of MVR 200,000 each. Eligible projects must fall within one of four key areas: education, environment, sports, or community development.
BML said applications, including completed forms and project proposals, should be submitted via email to [email protected] before the closing deadline.
The Bank Fund forms part of BML’s broader commitment to supporting community development and empowering local organizations to deliver sustainable initiatives that benefit people across the country.
