Police to Conduct Postmortem on Infant’s Death in Guraidhoo Amid Suspicion

The police have announced plans to conduct a postmortem examination due to suspicious circumstances surrounding the death of a four-month-old infant in K. Guraidhoo. The baby was discovered deceased late last night, with reports indicating the presence of blood from the nose.

Given the suspicion surrounding the incident, it was promptly reported to the authorities. The infant’s body has since been transported to Male’ and is currently housed at the Galolhu Mortuary. Arrangements are underway to send the body abroad for a detailed postmortem examination.

At this stage, no additional information regarding the cause of death has been released by officials.
