Visit Maldives Powers TTM 2025 as Destination Partner for the Largest Tourism Event in the Country

Visit Maldives, the country’s premier destination marketing body, has been confirmed as the official Destination Partner for TTM Maldives 2025, the leading international travel trade show. Set to take place on August 27th-28th, 2025, this prominent event will bring together key players in the global tourism industry to explore the latest trends, forge new partnerships, and discuss the future of Maldives tourism.

As the national body responsible for promoting the Maldives as a global tourist destination, Visit Maldives has positioned itself at the forefront of modern marketing efforts. With a comprehensive 360-degree integrated strategy, the organization continues to drive substantial awareness of the Maldives across both established and emerging markets. This strategy encompasses targeted public relations campaigns and trade representation, positioning Visit Maldives as a results-oriented and data-driven organization committed to long-term growth and sustainability in the sector.

Highlight from Travel Trade Maldives 2024 Gala Event

Highlighting its commitment to boosting the Maldivian economy, Visit Maldives has spearheaded 19 global marketing campaigns this year alone, with another 26 in the pipeline. The organization’s strategic partnerships with leading travel industry players and media outlets have effectively expanded the global reach of the Maldives, highlighting not just its iconic sun, sea, and sand, but also the broader, more diverse offerings available to visitors.

Ibrahim Shiuree, CEO and Managing Director of Visit Maldives, expressed the organization’s achievements and future ambitions. “In the first six months of this year, we’ve achieved remarkable milestones that further solidify the Maldives’ position as the world’s leading destination, for the fifth consecutive year. We proudly welcomed our one-millionth tourist earlier than ever before in our nation’s history. Our mission moving forward is to unlock even greater opportunities across all segments of tourism and to identify new areas for collaboration, as we work together to elevate the Maldives through bold, global initiatives,” he said.

TTM Maldives 2025 promises to be a significant event for the tourism industry, offering a platform for over 130 resorts and hotels and more than 250 top-tier travel operators and agents from the world’s leading source markets. The event will facilitate networking opportunities, partnership building, and critical industry discussions, further enhancing the Maldives’ status on the global tourism map.

The TTM Connect Meetings will take place over two days at Barceló Nasandhura Malé, with the event concluding on the final day with the TTM Awards & Gala Night at Adaaran Select Hudhuran Fushi. This prestigious evening will recognize excellence in the tourism industry, honoring the individuals and organizations that have made significant contributions to the sector.
