By Ahmed Ashraf Published 2 hours ago

Bank of Maldives (BML) has signed an agreement to become the official Banking Partner of Maldives Expo 2026, strengthening its support for local businesses, entrepreneurs and innovation across the country.

The exhibition, jointly organised by the Business Centre Corporation (BCC) and the Ministry of Economic Development, Transport and Trade, is scheduled to take place from 25 October to 2 November 2026 at Hulhumalé Central Park.

Maldives Expo 2026 will bring together local businesses, entrepreneurs and creative professionals to showcase Maldivian products, craftsmanship and innovative ideas. The event aims to provide businesses with greater exposure while creating opportunities to connect with potential customers, industry partners and wider markets.

The exhibition will also serve as a platform to promote locally manufactured products and highlight the creativity and entrepreneurial potential of Maldivians.

Through its partnership, BML aims to contribute to initiatives that strengthen the domestic business environment and encourage entrepreneurship.

As the country’s national bank, BML continues to support business development and economic activity through financial services and partnerships designed to empower local enterprises.

The bank said its involvement in Maldives Expo 2026 reflects its ongoing commitment to promoting innovation, supporting entrepreneurs and contributing to sustainable economic growth.

The nine-day exhibition is expected to provide participating businesses with an opportunity to increase their visibility, engage directly with consumers and explore new commercial opportunities.
