The State Trading Organization (STO) has launched a limited-time promotion offering discounted prices on Philips split wall-mounted air conditioners available through its retail outlet, STO People’s Choice.
The promotion, which runs until July 11, covers several models in the Philips air conditioner range, giving customers an opportunity to purchase the units at reduced prices.
According to STO, the offer applies to Philips air conditioners with cooling capacities of 9,000 BTU, 12,000 BTU, 18,000 BTU and 24,000 BTU, catering to a variety of residential and commercial cooling needs.
The air conditioners are available for purchase from the first floor of STO People’s Choice, where the company has been retailing the Philips range following its introduction by STO General Trading.
STO described the Philips units as energy-efficient split wall-mounted air conditioners designed for both homes and office spaces. Manufactured in China, the products feature rapid cooling technology and are marketed as durable, user-friendly and suitable for everyday use.
The state-owned retailer said the promotional campaign will remain in effect for two weeks, allowing customers to benefit from discounted prices across the full Philips AC lineup before the offer concludes.
Air conditioners typically experience increased demand in the Maldives during the warmer months, with many households and businesses upgrading or replacing cooling systems ahead of peak temperatures. Promotional campaigns by retailers are also common during this period as consumers prepare for higher cooling needs.
Customers interested in the promotion can visit the first floor of STO People’s Choice, where the discounted Philips air conditioner models are currently on display.
