Dhiraagu Launches Big PS5 Pro Giveaway for Maldivian Gamers

By Hussain Shinan Published 4 hours ago

Dhiraagu Gamers Guild (DGG) has launched a new promotion offering one lucky gamer in the Maldives the chance to win a PlayStation 5 Pro, as the platform steps up efforts to grow its local gaming community and attract new members.

The giveaway is open to all Maldivians and will run until September 16, with the winner set to be announced through Dhiraagu’s social media channels.

According to Dhiraagu, participants can enter the lucky draw by signing up for DGG through its online platform, verifying their phone number and updating their username.

The promotion offers local gamers a shot at one of the most sought-after consoles currently on the market, with the PS5 Pro expected to appeal to players looking for higher performance, upgraded graphics and a more immersive gaming experience.

Dhiraagu Gamers Guild has in recent years positioned itself as one of the main organized gaming platforms in the Maldives, hosting tournaments, community activities and competitive events for players across different titles and skill levels.

The platform has increasingly been used by Dhiraagu to engage with the country’s growing esports and gaming audience, particularly among younger users.

Beyond the latest giveaway, DGG regularly organizes competitions with cash prizes, gaming gear and other rewards, while also creating opportunities for local players to compete, connect and gain exposure in the wider gaming scene.

Dhiraagu says the initiative is part of its broader effort to support the development of gaming and esports in the Maldives by giving players access to platforms, experiences and equipment that can help elevate their participation.

With gaming continuing to grow as both a form of entertainment and competitive sport, promotions such as this have become an increasingly popular way for brands to connect with young digital audiences.

For local gamers, the latest giveaway offers a simple incentive: sign up, verify and wait to see if a next-generation console could soon be heading their way.
